Five minutes. Five checks. The first door that isn’t fully open is your entry door — where your way back in starts. The test also names the doors already open: your working machinery. Everything saves privately on your own device, and each saved month adds a point to your progress graph.

Tick any that apply to your affected side. If you tick one, Doors 2 and 3 are set aside for now and you should see your doctor or therapist before loading the arm.
Pain is data, never a target. Nothing in this test should hurt — if it does, stop that door and note it.
You need: a sturdy table, a filled 500 ml–1 L water bottle (or a bag), a broomstick or rod, a coin and a key. A partner is useful for Doors 1 and 5. Test your affected side.

Month over month
Re-take the test once a month and press “Save this month”. Doors opening over time is your recovery, made visible.
This self-test is informational. It runs alongside your medical care and never replaces it. It does not diagnose. Shoulder pain, subluxation, swelling, new numbness or worsening stiffness belong with your doctor or therapist.
